I went to EDD a year ago, and they helped me with a resume, but not until I came to the LifeWork Center did I learn to follow through on my job search. They helped me make a more professional resume. Their service was more personal and professional. I found the LifeWork Center at Francis House to be upbeat and encouraging. The counselors there built up my spirits. They spent quality time with me, which is something I didn’t find elsewhere. The counselors were like my personal assistants, and that made me feel special. Before going there I was PC illiterate, but they taught me some basic PC skills. I was able to get a job as a Research Interviewer. Thank you so much.

I got a flyer for a job at Goodwill from the Francis House LifeWork Center. I went to the orientation and there were 30 people there. Someone came out and she had my resume in her hand. She was pretty sure they would hire me. I called from the LWC and found out that I got the job. Job coaches at the LWC helped me with my resume. Now I am driving a forklift. Alot of things fell into place. I'm so glad I went to Francis House. Going straight to them got me the job.
